Made over the course of two years & shot largely in France, the film documents the working methods of the British artist Ian Tyson, engaged in creating a large steel sculpture. This monumental, site-specific piece, which was commissioned by the collector Anne Dilman, is now installed at the University of East Anglia, close to Norman Foster’s Sainsbury Collection & a large sculpture by Henry Moore.
